South West Surrey Home Education

Who we are

We are a growing group of families based in South West Surrey (UK) and the surrounding areas who home educate their children. Unschooling, de-schooling, autonomous, structured, steiner, montessori, don't have a name for it, it's a mixed bunch. We have weekly gatherings alternating between Farnham and Godalming where parents and children chat and play and generally hang out. Members also arrange one off events like educational talks and trips or just doing fun stuff together.

All Regular Group Events are listed on their own page. Fairly new and with spaces available is Fun and French, a weekly class which aims to introduce spoken French to early learners in a non threatening, enjoyable, postive way through songs, role-play, stories, music and lots of games. It's for ages 3 - 7, the group is limited to 10 children, is 30 minutes of class followed by free play and we club together to pay for the rental of the small hall it's held in.
